Ryote-dori (Two-hand hold)

Tori and Uke stand up, facing each other in the centre of the mat. Uke steps forward with his right foot. He shouts and grabs Tori's wrists (fig. 1).

Tori breaks Uke's balance as in the first technique in the Idori section. Tori kicks Uke in his stomach with his right foot (fig. 2).

Tori pulls Uke diagonally towards Uke's right front. Tori locks Uke's left arm with an Ude hishigi waki gatame (fig. 3). Uke taps with his right hand on Tori's right leg. Tori and Uke return to the positions they had before this technique. Uke moves a little back from Tori. Then he walks around and behind Tori (away from Shômen).
