Hisoka's kidnapping.
Anime: Tsuzuki and Hisoka are standing and listens to Maria Wong's last concert when Hisoka senses someone. Muraki. He runs after the doctor and Tsuzuki never notice that he is missing. When Hisoka finally catch up with Muraki says that he hadn't expected the boy to be shingami and when Hisoka ask him who he is, Muraki only smile and says that his cure worked. He recognizes Muraki's eyes and faints. Muraki catches him as he falls and takes him away. Tsuzuki has noticed that Hisoka is missing and starts to search for him. All he can find is a puddle of blood on the road. Hisoka is gone.When Hisoka comes to he is tied up and is bleeding really badly. Muraki is fingering Hisoka's gun and when Hisoka ask him why he is there, Muraki takes aim at him. The gun goes of but the bullet misses Hisoka's head with a few centimeters. Muraki push the gun under Hisoka's chin and says that he is only bait to lure Tsuzuki to him.
Manga: Hisoka and Tsuzuki follow Maria Wong to confront her stepmother. Tsuzuki wants to talk to the stepmother s Hisoka and Mari leaves the room. After a while Maria comes back and says that something has happened to Hisoka. Tsuzuki rushed out in the corridor and finds blood covering the walls and roof. Before him stands Muraki with a fainted Hisoka in his arms. Muraki accuse Tsuzuki for being careless and unavailable to protect things that are important to him before vanishing. When Hisoka wakes up almost the same thing happens here like id does in the anime only that Muraki is using a knife instead of a gun.
Rescue
Anime: Tsuzuki is lured on a date with Muraki to get Hisoka back. Before he goes he creates a fuda bird that will search for Hisoka while he holds his end of the deal. Tsuzuki sends one of the Gushoshin brothers with the fuda bird. After a long time on their ‘date' Muraki tells Tsuzuki that his reward is on hold and Tsuzuki grabs Muraki and demands that he releases Hisoka. Muraki says that it is Tsuzuki's own fault for thinking of the kid when he was with him. The fuda bird returns and Muraki breaks their ‘date'. Tsuzuki runs to where Hisoka is held and starts to untie his partner. Hisoka says that he shouldn't be there, that it was all a trap. Tsuzuki ignores him but shortly after Muraki shows up. He is angry that Hisoka ruined his time with Tsuzuki. Tsuzuki is furious at Muraki is treating them like toys. Muraki sends demon bats at the shingami and watch him fight them of. Hisoka and the Gushoshin are almost squished by a piece of the roof when a field protects them. It turns out that Tsuzuki had given Gushoshin a protect fuda. When Tsuzuki is finished with the bats Muraki sends a larger demon at him. The protect barrier starts to crumble and Hisoka realizes that he is too weak to make a new one. Tsuzuki notices that the barrier is coming down and calls out for Hisoka. Muraki is irritated that Tsuzuki is worried about the boy and orders the demon to attack the barrier. Tsuzuki is chocked when the demon attacks the barrier. Muraki asks Tsuzuki to look at him so that h could see him broken when the boy died and snaps his fingers so the demon attacks once more. Tsuzuki dashes over to his partners and protects them with his body. Tsuzuki is too weak to move so he asks Hisoka to fuse with him to bring Muraki down.
Manga: Tsuzuki is worried about Hisoka and sends a fuda bird to look for him. He tells Maria to stay and wait for him, but she manages to make him take her with him. Tsuzuki blasts through the roof and confronts Muraki while Maria unties Hisoka. Muraki tells Tsuzuki why he has been murdering people and why he took control over Maria. Tsuzuki attacks Muraki and manages to cut him in the face. While they are fighting Maria is trying to make Hisoka wake up. He wakes up and notices that they are protected by a barrier. Maria shows him the fuda Tsuzuki had given her. Muraki wants to end the battle a little faster and summons a demon. The demon attacks the barrier that has started to crumble. Hisoka protects Maria but the barriers falls down. Tsuzuki dashes over and shield the two with his body, taking the hit right in the back. Tsuzuki asks Hisoka to fuse with him to bring Muraki down.
Calling forth Surgatanus
Anime: Tsuzuki, Hisoka and Watari come up with a plan to lure Surgatanus to show himself. They go to Hijiri's school and Hijiri performs the Devil's Thrill on the violin. Surgatanus emerges to kill Hijiri but Tsuzuki jumps between them and holds the devil of until Watari has gotten Hijiri from the stage. Tsuzuki manages to take the battle to the outside where Surgatanus attacks him. Tsuzuki calls forth Byakko and the tiger attacks the devil. Tsuzuki uses a fuda to protect himself from the attack Surgatanus throws at him but the attack manages to reach the others behind him. He quickly turns around and throws a protect spell at the group but Surgatanus takes his chance and attacks Tsuzuki. Biting down on Tsuzuki's shoulder, he tries to rip his arm of but Byakko attacks him and the devil is destroyed.
Manga: Watari, Hisoka, Tsuzuki, Hijiri, Kazusa and the Gushoshin brothers gather by the school to call forth Surgatanus. Placing the cures violin on the ground they ask Kazusa to burn it. The devil within Hijiri tries to take it back but Watari holds him back and tells Tsuzuki to destroy it. Surgatanus emerges from the violin to attack them and Watari and Tsuzuki runs of with Hijiri and Kazusa. The devil attacks and Tsuzuki calls forth Byakko to protect them. Surgatanus attacks Tsuzuki but he protects himself with a fuda. Hijiri's left eye starts to hurt and his pain distracts Tsuzuki. Surgatanus bites into Tsuzuki's shoulder but Byakko attacks him and destroys him.
